Mount Sinai College Online Graduate Degrees ProgramsMaster's ProgramsOur Masters programs are the second step in our educational objective; our Masters futher prepares students to be grounded on the authority of God's Word, and committed to challenging Christians to serve Christ with passion and purpose. Masters Prerequisites: an acceptable bachelor's degree, must have completed a minimum of nine credit hours of study each in Hebrew and Greek and able to translate any given text. We offer the following Master Degrees at this time; Master of Biblical Studies (M.B.S.) - 36 hours Master of Theology (Th.M.) - 36 hours Masters of Biblical and Missional Studies (M.B.T.C) - 45 hours Master in Jewish Christianity and Culture (M.J.C.C.)- 45 hours Master of Transformational Leadership (M.T.L) - 57 Master of Arts: Interdisciplinary Studies (M.I.S.)- 63 hours Masters of Bible Exposition and Contextual Studies (M.B.T.S) 36 hours Master of Transformational Leadership (M.T.L) - 57 Transformational Leadership starts with the development of a vision, a view of the future that will excite and convert potential followers, more>>. Doctoral ProgramsDoctor of Ministry (D.Min) - 36 hours The Doctor of Ministry program is offered to qualified students currently engaged in ministry as a Pastor or teaching in a bible educational institute. The Doctor of ministry program (36 credits) is designed for those who have already proven competence in ministry and desire a higher level of expertise and education. The program equips leaders in areas of pastoral ministry, bible education, Biblical Theology. Admission Requirements:
Doctor of Theology (D.Th) - 36 hours The Doctor of Theology is a professional degree designed to prepare the student for upper level instruction and teaching as well as for a Pastor. This degree is thirty six (36) credit hours above the Master degree. The student must have a background in theology, bible, and Jewish history to enter this program. Pre-requisite:
PhD ProgramsWe will be offering a PhD program of study soon. Thesis or DissertationNot all degree programs require a thesis (for undergraduate and master's students) or dissertation (for doctoral students). The professional degree programs require only that you complete classes. However, for research degrees, a thesis or dissertation is required. You will prepare a proposal. Once your mentor and the Seminary have approved your proposal, you may begin writing your thesis or dissertation. While it is typical for the thesis or dissertation to be the last thing a student does for the degree, it can be started earlier as long as the mentor and College approve.
